JFS and JanFac USA Announce Merger
Combined company will drive commercial cleaning and facilities services addressing the needs of local and state government offices, corporations and local businesses, and a growing residential market.
New Orleans, La. and Houston, TX – Janitorial and Facilities Services. (“JFS”) and JanFac USA (“JanFac”), leading providers of commercial cleaning and facilities services, today announced the merger of the two companies creating a national leader in cleaning and maintenance services. The merger is effective today, and the companies will combine business operations in the coming year.
Vantage Equity Partners, owner of JFS, has completed its previously announced acquisition of all outstanding JanFac common stock for $16.00 per share in a transaction valued at approximately $192 million.
The combined company will be privately held and operate under the JFS brand. Dan Calder, JFS CEO, has been named the CEO of the new combined company. Joe Morgan, CEO of JanFac, will work with the management team through the transition to a single company, at which point he will retire. The headquarters for the combined company will be in New Orleans, La with a significant office presence in JanFac’s former headquarters in Houston, Texas.
